Week Commencing 10th January 2022

In Year 1 this week we have been using a compass. The children spent some time outside exploring the different directions and found which areas of the playground were pointing North, South, East, and West.

They then used the language they learnt to follow simple directions.

Week Commencing 3rd January 2022

Happy new year to you all!

We have had a lovely first week back from school and it has been wonderful to hear all about the lovely memories the children have made at home with their families.

Our favourite project this week was making pop up cards as part of our D&T project where we are learning about moving picture books. The children loved investigating and exploring different pop up books and then applied their skills and knowledge to design and create their very own  pop up card to take home!

Great work everyone!
