Today the chairs in Year 5 went on strike! They were fed up with being trumped on, rocked and bruised! The children have started to write a persuasive letter to try and get them back. Their key focus has been to use the key features of the text, such as flattery, emotive and persuasive language and rhetorical questions. I cannot wait to read their letters at the end of the week to see if they were successful. If they were not, the tables have threatened a strike too!
