    Monday 9th January 2017   Parent and Child Road Safety Walk RKC     Dear Parent/Carer,   Thurrock Council’s Road Safety team shall be visiting RKC to undertake a Parent and Child Road Safety walk on Thursday 2nd February. Please drop off your child as usual and come Dell Hall at 9.00am where the Road Safety team will take you and your child out for a short walk and talk lasting approximately one hour.     Year 1 Trip to the museum of childhood

    5th January 2017 Dear Parents/Carers,   I am pleased to let you know that we have arranged for all Year 1 pupils to attend a trip, on Monday 23rd January, to the ‘Victoria & Albert’ Museum of Childhood as part of our Toys on a Timeline topic. Children will explore the different toys through history and take part in an interactive workshop.   Please ensure your child is in school by 9.00 a.m. for registration as we plan to leave school at 9.30a.m. We will aim to return to school by 3.15 p.m.  Children should wear school uniform for the trip and bring a waterproof coat with them in case of adverse weather. Your child will need to bring a packed lunch (no glass bottles or fizzy drinks) or you may pre-order a Free School packed lunch.     PGL Letter for Year 6

    Monday 16th January 2017 Dear Parents and Carers,   PGL RESIDENTIAL TRIP   We have 38 children now booked on our exciting residential visit to Caythorpe Court on 23rd June for our year 6 children. Originally, the cost for the four day trip was £210.00 per child, which includes all transport, activities and food and accommodation, however we have just been advised that we have received a grant to subsidise the trip which now brings the cost down to £170.00. Those who have already paid in full will receive a refund accordingly.   We are also now able to offer six more places at this low rate and have been given a deadline until the end of next week, Friday 27th January, to confirm new interest.   If you would like your child to take part in this memorable, exciting educational visit, please sign and return the form below along with a deposit of £50.00.
